Umm... No. Your friend is wrong, or at least his info is outdated. Two weeks ago, a huge storm blew in through the city, but power has returned. (unless there's something I don't know about).

Power went out in a number of areas last night (mostly the suburbs, but I think some of West Seattle was out too), but we got ours back around 4 a.m. Don't know how many other people are still out.

TY, I guess he just hasn't had TV to see that information. He is calling me up every few minutes to get updates on the Colts game. I'm guessing this is not going to effect the start of the game at all.
