Default Re: 2008 National Champions (NCAAF)

1. SC
2. Texas
3. LSU (if russell comes back)
4. Michigan
5. Louisville (if Brohm comes back)

Depending on who decides to up and leave for the draft over the next few weeks, things will shake out a bit. But I think SC is a lock for #1, even with Jarrett leaving, with the way they finished by mopping up Michigan.

After that, I think there's probably about 5-6 teams that will randomly fill in the spots.

One conference nobody has mentioned so far in the Big Ten. Michigan SHOULD be pretty loaded, but what about OSU, Wisconsin, PSU, etc? I expect OSU to have a good, but not great season, just because they will have to bring in a lot of new players. Anyone know what's up with Wisco? I have no idea how many they have returning...PSU, as someone mentioned, could have a great season if a couple key things align. MSU hopefully will at least be bowl-eligable, but with a new coach and system in play, who knows...
