Well, a 4-0 then an 0-4, I'll be happy with a 2-2 but winning week to end on. I think I'm guaranteed a decent winning season either way and am happy that I've made big strides in my 'capping this year. Sample size is small, but big enough that I can feel the difference.
Am I capable of winning on my capping alone yet? Doubtful. Am I miles better at the game than this time last year? For sure.

$400 Titans -3

Sticking with the motivation based picks. The Pats have been my bogey team this year and I've struggled to pick their games and I've not done great on the Titans either, oh well, one last chance

$300 Cards +13.5

Wow, just wow. I think that the motivation based betting has gone the other way a bit here.
I'm far from convinced that athletes get as excited about "Must win to seal home advantage" as they do about "Must win to continue the season". This line seems to have everything added into it on the Chargers' side, but in their hearts I suspect they just don't want to get beaten up this week. The Cards have stunk nastier and nastier as the season has gone on, but given that we win if the score is 14-3, I can't see us passing on this one. Charger fever and a kind of hook on the 14 has created a supersized silly fave here.

$200 Chiefs -2.5

Simple pick for me here. Anyone who has read any of my writeups will know why I like this.

$100 Bills +9.5

Similar to the Chargers pick here, I'm less excited about the actual line, but there's a bit of compensation in that they have probably already resigned themselves to 2nd place. Again, I don't buy that 'Pro Athletes always try' stuff.

Thanks to Homer for his time, it was obviously more difficult than any of us can imagine as Homer has always been a worker. Thanks also to the other competitors for not jumping on Homer, oh and also for those who finish below me and made me feel like a real handicapper
Also thanks to Bellytimber for not borrowing from my imaginary dollars to pay for his picks when things got tough
