Re: possible c/bet situations?
I'll give my default (i.e. over 80% of the time) plays.
hand 1: Check. There are 2 high cards, so pairs and all kinds of straight draw/FD type hands will call you on this flop. Just give up and don't put more $ in without improving.
hand 2: I'd check usually, bet against a really loose player. Note that I'm checking for slightly different reasons than hand 1. I'll often call a turn bet against an aggro player on a non-scary card. Also, I may call turn if I pick up more of a draw. Don't look to put a lot of $ in with 88 on this type of board though.
hand 3: Definitely bet.
hand 4: Check/fold is fine again. You're OOP and this is a terrible board to c-bet. Also, people will give you less credit in a blind battle so its better to just give up sometimes.
