Would you like to be the Franchise doing poorly but who still has to pay 500 dollars a month. While watching the guy doing 10 times your business pay the same to him paltry amount. I pay 4.5% of gross sales into advertising. This way my slower store is not crushed by a fixed expense, but rather pays what it can afford.
I am talking about the National advertising fund, you may advertise store specific as well at whatever amount you choose. In general for Subway you need very little store specific advertisment, under 1000 dollars a year.
