Assuming MP folds and CO is having exactly one overcard: No he doesn't get the odds needed. His pot odds will of course still be 5:2 as if preflop, but with one overcard he's only 6:1
But it's a long shot, I agree. For a S'n'G to wotk, none of them must hit the flop so I think pushing is cleary better
