I am assuming you are referring to the river.

Given that the pot is $96 and I have ~ $55 left, what amount would you recommend betting on the river so that I can fold to a river raise and not be pot committed?

Huh, didn't look at stack sizes. In that case, I guess just open push or c/f. C-c isn't good because there's not much for him to bluff with. As Jay says, maybe he'll bet 88 for "value" but that's not much to count on.
