i think it might be right to say that the vast majority of good players run this bluff with position

i dont think drawing 2 is all that horrible for the reasons stated - i think its generally wrong in this position but for a different reason - drawing 2 assumes your opponent is going to outplay you and thats a bad assumption

Very much agreed... either way if you want to finish the hand you only have to do so for one bet, and if you've got notes on the player you'll outplay them.

Occasionally if my SB always tries to steal me I'll three bet and draw 1 with almost any pair if I think he won't call down with a pair. Sometimes you just have to put your foot down.


ANYWAY:

You might be a 5CD fish when there is a bet and two calls, then you call with fours up [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
