Man, the people trusting cousins, frat guys they know, etc. are nuts. I'm killing all sorts of people that are close to me for $10 million. I'd save my wife, and that's pretty much it.
A lot also depends on how people are killed. I'd save dozens if they would be tortured, but insta-death is a no brainer, IMO.
Oh, and the poster picking Gates and Buffet is the man. It might not work, but trying to scam another 10k a pop out of total strangers is awesome.
