Default Spin-off: Poker etiquette and speaking up at showdown

Two people replied to another post of mine and this came up: Is it OK to speak up when the "winning" hand didn't really win at showdown, with tabled cards, even when the dealer is involved and you are not in the hand?

Two posters here said yes, you can and should speak up. One of my friends said it's between the players and the dealer and to keep your mouth shut if you are not in the hand.

Which is correct etiquette in a B&M room?
