I advocate buying precious metals, i.e. gold and silver related assets. That includes bullion and shares. I don't invest in the majors, only the junior exploration stocks. They are more risky, but offer the most potential. Actually, I wouldn't call buying shares of a junior exploration stock investing, I would call it gambling.

My favorite silver junior exploration stock is Great Panther (GPR.TO/GPRLF.PK). These stocks are extremely volatile, so play at your own risk.
