But why does the study of probability and logic trump other forms of self improvement? There are many out there. Of course, I would generally agree that people who are struggling, who are also completely unmotivated to better themselves, don't deserve alot of help. That falls into 2 categories though 1) trying to improve, or 2) not trying to improve. I don't see where probability and logic come into play.
