your analogy fails to address the fact that the designers
of online games have total control over the game world and
can make changes where necessary. it's not like it's not
possible to adopt an honest holdem t&c. it's very possible.

your real world example is a poor reference because there is
no way to fix rape and murder before the fact unless you
want to talk about a "minority report" type of future.

if somebody says:
"i want to live in a world with no rape and murder"
we'd tell that person that's not possible right now.

if somebody says:
"i want to play an online holdem game where it's not
possible for one of my opponents to click the accept button
and then not cooperate with the t&c"
we can point them toward an honest holdem site.
