Yeah, I understand that aspect of it. You have to understand that I wasn't looking for someone to tell me whether they think I can win or not. What I need from a consultant is someone who is connected in the local politcal scene. I've been told by rock solid sources that this is the person to get in with.

That's all I really need. I need her to get me a meeting and endorsements from Roy Barnes, John Lewis, and others. If she can do that, she's hired.

Now, when I mean hired, I don't mean I'm going to start paying her out of my pocket. If she can't help me raise moeny, she doesn't get paid. She understands that.
