Default Re: Poll... Which Demographic fits you ?

[ QUOTE ]
I am taking a poll of the B&M forum many of my threads recieve some good feedback and also a large amount of negative feedback.

The purpose of this poll is to get a demographic on the B&M posters

I would like to determine the amount of people at 2+2 who feel they are Borgataites

My definition of an Borgataite

1) Must have a nice plush room with large bathroom, 100 channels, good room service etc.

2) Do not care about game rules... (exa) 6/5 on a blackjack 345 odds etc

3) Would rather be around other well groomed people

4) Always have to stay at the "New and Shiny" places

5) Money is of no concern

OR are you a Govman like grub

1) The Cheaper the Room the more money you have to gamble

2) The less the Buffet costs the more you have to gamble

3) Shows..... I only go to the free lounge acts so I have more to gamble.

4) You hate sitting next to a guy in a suit talking about his stock portfolio

5) Busch Beer and Keystone Light taste the same as Hinieken, Becks, Hefeweizen.

6) If the dealer hits on a soft 17 and pays 6/5 on a blackjack you wanna hit him.

No I take offense at stupid polls. Here's what applies to me: None in the "Borgataite" choices (3 I prefer non-smelling people but I play in jeans, sweater, and generally without shaving that day)

From the "Govman" grub options: none. I haven't stayed in a hotel yet in AC.

Its a stupid poll because its the equivalent of a 12 year old asking: "Does your Mom know you are gay?".

At low limits I find it hard to believe that games are very different from one place to another. My ratio of happy fun profitable tables at Borgata is high. The one time I played at the Taj I was at a grumpy, mean, profitable table, and I have heard this is common from a number of people.

I didn't know Borgata had different blackjack rules, but since I don't play blackjack it doesn't effect me. In fact none of your descriptions of either option are related directly to poker, so once again: its a stupid poll.
