I'm not sure what stage everyone is at and I don't want to repeat myself or have this lost if people aren't ready so please check in to this thread if you have done the following -

1. Picked a niche
2. Registered a domain name
3. Setup hosting

If a good few people check in then I'll stick up the info on how to get listed on google in a couple of days rather than the 6 weeks or so it takes if you submit your page via their usual registration form.
