I know by experience this type of statement doesn't get a good response here in OOT. There are a lot of animal lovers who would gladly spend their whole life savings to fix something that can be replaced for free, while humans starve all over the world.

Seriously dude, replacing one cat with another is not the same. Cats have personality just like people.

Would you let your kid die just because the treatment was expensive? You can replace them for free to (and the making of them is more enjoyable than going to the pound and seeing all the baby kitties you can't bring home).
