FWIW I don't play the Party 30/60 games and I am new to stud. Anyway checking sixth I think is not right. Your board is drawy, yeah, but you also raised a bad player into two kings on third, so you probably really do have a pair of 7s. The reason he is calling you is he thinks you have a hidden pair in the hole and can beat two pair or is hoping to catch. I think two big pair might check behind on sixth and one pair definitely will. Look at it from the two big pair perspective: he is either way ahead or way behind of you so betting probably isn't right. And he can't really fold to a c/r if he has two pair. Interestingly if you are sure he is going to call sixth, then checking if you don't have trips here might be right since he will be very likely to check behind and give you a free card.
