The obvious problem with the middle east is theocracy. We are at war with religious zealots. To stabilize the middle east we have to remove the religion, or at the very least the zealotry. Of course this would be painful to the theocracy in this country as well.
I vote tat we begin carpet bombing the area with porn, birth control, and translations of Dawkins.
