My
blog has been around most of the year, but I am doing the challenge for a few reasons. The main being an exercise in discipline and bankroll management. I had a windfall recently that was enough to pay the rent and bills for the next year allowing me to quit my job to play poker full time. I decided rather than to play for a living straight off the bat, I would do some experimenting with my game on the low limits, now that I have the time to put in some serious effort.
The bankroll challenge is there just to offer some structure rather than randomly trying things out. I have no target to meet; just to grow it as big as possible by the end of the year.
