His table position to Hero's immediate left is an important factor, but not the only factor. This is a fairly full table not head up. Villain still has to think about players to his left in addition to Hero. Villain is just as capable of micro-tilting as anyone else. If Hero's action causes Villain to become frustrated in the table dynamic, then this is beneficial to almost everyone else at the table in the long run.

What Ansky did here has a lot more impact when both are in earlier position than when both are in later position. If you can take any player off his game for a portion of each orbit, then you have gained and he has lost.
