Unless you want something really high end, I would recommend the
Edmund Scientific Astroscan, the Deluxe Package (it has the Barlow lens amongst other nifty things included). It's $400 and is an amazing piece of technology for the price.
If you want something higher end, you're going to have to spend more. I would recommend either a Meade or Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain 8".
