Thank God. When the cubs started to "turn it around" about a month ago I was horrified that they'd keep him around for another year. The cubs definitely still have issues, but they need a no-nonsense manager willing to push the players, not an apologist like Dusty. Dusty's comfort zone is managing a team like the Yankees where his main role is to placate the egos of superstars, which is why he did well in the first year with the cubs when the team was rolling along. Once things go wrong and he actually needs to improve a bad situation, he's worthless.
