Just write your interesting treatise or longer post and let discussion generate from that.

I'm actually very curious as to the flip side of what is going on in the other thread. Not that it may not be the most awesome place EVAR!!11!! but it certainly won't be 100% perfect.

I'm most curious about like weather year-round. I have lived most of my life in CA which has *insanely* good weather....is there a part of the US that Thailand somewhat closely mimics? Or how would you describe it? (misquito type bugs an issue?)

I spent a month traveling around India and in the back of my mind a lot of the same negative things could be present in Thailand. And I definitely would never live in India as it is right now.
