It's weird / interesting how it affects people differently, whether or not you lived in NYC/ DC knew people etc. As I mentioned, it seemed like in SF, most people just kind of got back to their normal lives within a month or so.

Quote from my buddy who's lived in CA all his life... though he has a good amount of friends who were in NYC at the time. I also know of another guy, a very successful dude, great life... who had never lived in NY and didn't really know anyone involved in WTC, who had a nervous breakdown cause of it, just like, completely lost it.
