Default Re: Aces in the big blind Stars 100/200 vs Lagerborg

[ QUOTE ]
You should bet the turn and take it from there. Don't give a free card or allow yourself to get squeezed. You might as well put pressure on Donald or Lager and your bet best does this, especially if you will lead and three-bet some other hands. Depending on who raised me, I would consider just calling or re-raising it heads-up, but that depends on how the game has been playing. I would call if I just checked, but that would never happen.

Donald isn't very aggressive on the later streets, so I don't think there was much chance of it going bet-raise and then me folding the best hand. I guess I just thought if 2 bets went in on this street, I was almost certainly in very bad shape. So I figured I'd let someone else bet it.
I did the standard check and call down, by the way.
I also wanted to mention that I never actually considered folding, and then afterwards the fact that I didn't even think about it was a bad thing.
