Thanks for all of the replies. Obv. a much more standard line would have been to bet the flop but there really wasn't much that was standard about this spot so I opted to try a different line, one which I felt enabled me to better utilize my position.
He ended up showing Qd9d and mhig. Obv this hand has some very specific reads and table dynamics involved so maybe it was a bad one to post.
