She's probably just massively insecure because deep down she knows she's only of average looks. So she writes stuff that sounds arrogant to make her feel better about herself.

nuff said - her blog is embarassing and screams of insecurity. Getting married to some dude after 5 weeks of knowing him isn't the best lifetime partner selection methodology either.
I definitely wouldn't say all American women are like this but I've met my fair share - probably more of an NYC thing more than anything else. But in general it sure seems like our ladies are getting fatter and less attractive every year and more demanding at the same time which is counterintuitive!!!
