I think its essential.

NL 200 players are loose but not too many are going to call a $22 re-raise with less than a decent holding (i.e. they'll fold A7o,K10o, etc)

I think you are wrong, I give up my blinds like 98% of the time without a good hand, most often folding the mediocre ones as well, only playing with focus on position. Blinds means nothing, especially at 1/2. Of course they mean something, but it adds up by stealing A LOT from LP because they very rarely play back without TT+, AK+.

That thing have improved my game a lot, making it much easier to mulitabling etc.
