This hand occured within my first orbit at the table. I reckognize the villain as a winning mid/high stakes player who was 8-tabling 5/10 at the time. We have no previous history together so I doubt he knows anything about my game. I thought my play in this hand was standard, but a friend who's opinion I respect thought I wasn't getting sufficent implied odds to call preflop and disagreed with the flop push. My questions are is this preflop call standard and how would you play it after the flop?
