I really like Floyd, and I hope against hope that he can clear his name, but whomever is advising him appears to be a moron. Floyd needs to stfu right now and let his lawyers try this case in the proper venue, based on the evidence. He has nothing to gain from a minor (for that is the best he can hope for) PR win in the media. What if his lawyers decide to pursue a different explanation than the one he is currently using? He will look even worse than he does now, and he will have changed his story twice.
Someone needs to get Floyd out of the spotlight for his own good and for any possible future good of his career. He is doing terrible harm to his chances of clearing his name right now.
