I think if theyre losing money, the only reason theyd play is for fun.
Think about it from their perspective - why play if you lose money and you have a.s.s.holes ripping you because your play sucks?
If I was new and bad at poker (I may be bad at poker, but Im not new to it [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] ) and it was me that you were doing that to, either Im going to try to get a lot better at poker or Im going to find something else to do with my money that I enjoy.

Bingo. Losing money at poker isn't fun. Getting berated, called stupid, etc. while you lose money is 10x worse. Why do anything that might make people get better or quit and take their money elsewhere?
