No. I figure between OOT and TLDR, people have two very good outlets to post food/drink threads of different types. I don't see why yet another forum is needed.
While the forum would succeed to a degree no doubt, I suspect the main impact would be that food/drink/restaurant contributions from me and many others like me would be lost. Whether or not this would likely be made up for by any increased participation in the new forum is a decision for the mods/admins to make.
As I wrote above, my three food threads this week received about 4000 views and 300 responses. The Scotch and Wine threads by Clark and others also received huge participation.
To clarify my position, I would not participate much in the forum and do not think it's necessary, but also agree with you that there's a decent chance it might be a successful forum.
