i guess it should be known that in the other limit forum that i frequent i am known to be overly/unnecessarily fancy at times. i feel like i should be chastised or something.

this doesn't seem very "fancy" in fact it lets ur opponent play perfectly. call with a hand that beats you or fold. two simple decisions.

to suck him in i'd have raised to 3k. then IF he checks to you on the river 2/3 pot it. if he bets, just call.
