I dunno, for some reason I thought maybe if I raised small it might be look like a real sign of strength, plus his small flop bet seemed like a hand that either wanted to fold or was very very strong, or something. In hindsight it was stupid because I could get blown off a hand where I have a lot of relatively concealed probable outs.
