Re: The Squid and The Whale
Bill Murray was supposed to play this part, and it shows. Daniels does a great job, but I couldn't get Murray out of my head while watching it, and this was before I knew that Murray was offered the role but turned it down.
I thought this movie was awesome for about 50 minutes, but it dies somewhat after that. It just trailed off to me. It's still worth a watch.
