Default something weird; looking for opinions

I'm waiting to hear back from my #1 law school pick (been waiting over 4 months). Yesterday in the mail I got a piece of mail from Pick-A-Prof Student Services, and the return address says it's from the University of Georgia (where I want to go). It's postmarked in Texas, so I'm guessing it's just some company that that has a contract with the school allowing them to contact me.

The letter is advertising something that allows me to review grade histories of professors, and begins with the sentence "Congratulations on your recent admission to the University of Georgia-- the state's flagship institution of higher education." But I haven't heard anything from the school, and it doesn't have any updates on my application online, where they allow you to check the status.

I'm confused; I want to be ecstatic that I got into the school, but I don't see how a company got the news about my acceptance and sent me a piece of mail before I heard back from the school itself, especially considering such a thing would be updated online. Any opinions? Anyone have experience with stuff like this?

I realize I can just call the school tomorrow but I'm giddy and impatient, and looking for reasons to be happy.

Thanks ahead of time.
