Rich - while I don't disagree with your choice, it's totally out of line in the context of this thread.

Microbob - thanks. I may not be remembering the Pitfall difference well enough, but how complicated could it have been? You've got ponds, ropes, snakes, ladders, walls, etc. IIRC better graphics on Intellivision, but what's a playa gonna do? Ponds are ponds. In the video game world, apparently snakes hate without prejudice.

Also, I totally recall the Plimpton commercials. Great memory.

td, I like your style. PT boats were totally within the rules. You just don't eff with a brotha's land.

gwhiz - you don't know how bad that no-faced robot scared me as a kid. WHY CAN'T HE HAVE A FACE!!! Dammit. Also, the game made me feel like I should lock all the doors and windows to avoid being attacked by a robot or giant spider.
