Disclaimer - I'm not an expert in ADHD.

But I would suspect, like most things medical, that the condition runs a spectrum from mild to severe, and I can see how a mild case MIGHT be useful in some professions.

Manage multiple complex problems with inadaquate information under sensory overload conditions?

It wouldn't surprise me if most of my group of ER MD's had a touch of ADHD.
