Default Re: Venetian Poker Questions

and, on a personal note. It would mean alot to me if your staff was informed that it is improper to make their recognition of a regular player obvious at the table prior to the player mentioning it. I have been playing a good deal in the room- which is certainly on par with both the belly and wynn in most respects- however, it is frustrating when the dealers (and several do this) go out of their way to greet me by name.

I understand WHY- they are trying to be courteous and customer-satisfying- but its not a restaraunt and it does a good deal of DAMAGE to a players table image when sveral dealers obviously know the player by name. A simple head nod and smile in the regular players direction will accomplish the same thing- without undermining that players table image.

This very rarely happens at the belly or the wynn- and I think a general memo or mention of why NOT to do it to your staff would stop it from happening at the vaneesh as well.

Thanks for being open to the input.
