It's also possible to set this to Hybrid mode by following the same procedure but by setting a hex value of 8 instead of 1.

On my desktop it was "unknown" (there wasn't even a DhcpNodeType registry value), on one laptop it was "Broadcast", and the other laptop was "Hybrid".

After reading some more I found out that if it says unknown it will default to Broadcast anyway. Furthermore it seems that Mixed mode (4) is a better alternative than Hybrid mode (8)
