The above advice is really silly. No one cares how much you have when you sit down. Furthermore, thinking that players at a 4-8 game will "pick you apart" if you sit down with more than 30BB makes you more of a fish than they.

Cliff Notes: Don't fret about possibly overbuying into a limit game. Just buy in for whatever makes you feel comfortable.
