Re: Uberman\'s Sleep Schedule
Your avatar is pretty awesome. As for not having the balls, it doesn't really take balls. You just need to have the free time and motivation. If you have no reason to stay awake, you certainly won't...

Re: Uberman\'s Sleep Schedule
I tried it twice. I was unsuccessful both times. The second time, I managed to do it almost flawlessly for 6 days and was feeling good, then everything fell apart for some reason.
For those who...

I have been trying to e-mail them for about 2 weeks. I've sent about 10 e-mails without getting anything but the standard auto-reply. I've also tried calling their support number, but the number...

Re: NL Holdem Questions For Me

I just want to know, what is the secret to reading other players hands? Is it experience or is it theory? Anybody?

Logical deduction.

I fold here, and probably pre-flop as well. Unless villain is known to be especially aggressive post-flop, its difficult to see what you can beat here.

Re: NL50 SH AJo TP vs LAG
Seems ok. Have you seen him RR flop before?
The turn check is an obvious "I want to c/r your ass" so good check behind there. And the river is an obvious "I missed a c/r on your ass" so good fold.

Re: 25NL QQ on bb after some action
Call. Tough to say post flop, but I would usually check to the raiser on every flop. Then I see what everyone does before I decide where I'm going with this hand.

Re: Sanity check
Why not call the 3-bet w/ position? I don't like 4-betting a 3-bettor that never raises in the first place.

Shove the turn

Yeah, I think a J calls you often enough to make this good. C/R is dangerous since Villain will only bet if he wants it all in on that street.

Re: Fold this boat?

The only time I check the flop when I am pretty sure my hand is best is if:
1. My hand is really not that vulnerable at all, or
2. Villain is a [censored] maniac who is going to do my...

Re: 25 NL Overbetting donkeys
I call both rivers. I think I'm happier calling the second one though, but first one is still good often enough, IMO.

As played, the fold is good. But mediumpimpin has a point: when you call the turn, what card are you looking for on the river? Without a read on the Villain, it's really hard...

Smooth calling the flop and C/R a safe turn is another option, but considering I'm OOP he can always check behind me so I'm forced to fire again.

I'm assuming you have no hearts? If so, it's not a crime to check-fold this turn. It sucks, but you still have almost 100 BBs behind, and every conceivable draw just got there on the...
