Re: $6.50: 4 BBs thin shove UTG. Standard?

[ QUOTE ]
I think this is pretty thin at a 6.50 and am doubtful that everyone calls quite that tight at this level. Also you have 5.5 BB, not 4.

Re: $5 AJ thoughts ?

I think it looks alot like cash game play.

I think standard is to just be a nit and call/fold pf, c/f flop, call turn, c/f river. Not worth all of this so early unless stt strategy changed alot...

Re: 6.50 AJ early weird line

I'd limp along pf w/ position. Raising is bad, but if you did have a raising hand after two limps (JJ+ AK) make it around 100 - you want to either take it down or have 1 or 2 callers. Bet around 3/4...

$6.50: 4 BBs thin shove UTG. Standard?

I have more third places than anything else (My dist. is 11/14/16 after over 3,000 sngs) which I'm trying to fix with shoves like this.

Its +.03 w/ everyone calling 55+,ATo+,A8s+,KQs which is...

Thank you sir! I was just in the process of sending them an email asking about where they stand on the issue.

Here is a short YouTube video on Ron Paul for anyone not familiar with him:

Folding pf is definitely the standard play.

Re: $6.50: L1 AKs facing 8x BB raise

I folded, but I'm sure this is easily the worst option. All the talk about preserving chips early turned me into a big nit.

I wasn't sure if its ever ok to flat call early for 10% of my stack....

$6.50: L1 AKs facing 8x BB raise

Reads: MP1 raised 8x BB and probably sucks

I know its standard to call raises w/ AK in early levels but I'm never sure what to do when someone makes more than a standard raise...

Re: Frustration...

This sounds like a good idea, but (sorry if this is a stupid question) how do you get to a hand history for a table you're still playing?

Re: Tilt 10$ - Non Turbo - Pocket Queens - Rate my play

You should probably be reraising here, but as was already said you could at least play for set value.

You only have to call 80 more from the BB; if you were 100% sure he can only have AA or KK...

I think its pretty standard to just muck AJo in most situations, and check when in the blinds unless its BVB.

I'm pretty sure theres nothing wrong with open-raising...

Re: $114: Good spot for an action limp?

Anything wrong with raising to 500, & calling shoves from all but the BB?

I didn't think a solid BB is supposed to shove loose here when he only has you covered by 600. Maybe I have a leak...

Re: 22$ - TT Betting into the aggressor

Doesn't a c/r turn our hand into a bluff? If he calls or reraises, he almost always has you beat and you'll have to completely shut down.

I think b/f and c/c if he makes a weak bet are better...

Re: $6.5T level2 KK in SB PostFlop line check

I would bet the flop a little harder because there are alot of draws so you can shove the turn. Maybe 275?

Re: (109) Mid-game play, QQ gets c/r\'ed on a K-high flop

I think the flop bet (w/ intention to b/f) almost turns our hand into a bluff. He may call with a few worse hands, but he will also likely call a small value bet later in the hand. Giving a free card...
