Re: Ouch, should I have slowed down on the river?

I might checkcall the flop and just checkcall down from there. I think you're getting raised a lot and of course you have to showdown vs. some LRRing donk.

Too much action on the river. Probably...

Re: Unique Preflop situation

KJ is an auto 3-bet here, reraising here is fine and good. Though tbh I call here sometimes because these types let you get lots of value when you flop a pair or draw and you can choose whether or...

Re: Quick PF question (kinda lc i guess)

I'd fold, where do you draw the line though Oink? It's kinda tough because of 50/12's low PFR.

Re: HU vs unknown

Depends on what you've been doing. A river raise should be for value but also to protect bluffs. I'd usually raise and get 3-bet by A5 and then cry bloody tears about the $40/100 the rake is taking...

Re: Man kills 2 People While 911 Is Telling Him Not To

And FWIW, in response to this:

Though it's not explicit in the recording, I think most...

[ QUOTE ]

To think that someone could go to prison for this is scary as hell to me. This man didn't wake up that morning with the intent to kill two black men. He was given a set of...

Re: 3 barrels?

Meh, bet to win, you know? Might not seem like it works enough to be profitable but I'm sure it does. Sucks that the turn might've freezed up his overpair but this will be a good bet IMO.

Re: i just ate ham and eggs (eggs and ham for those in UK)

I usually don't raise here, for a few reasons. One, TAGs these days are bad and will just barrel away with AQ on all streets (What is ATs doing in his range? most weak TAGs coldcall that imo). Two,...

Re: Man kills 2 People While 911 Is Telling Him Not To

[ QUOTE ]

Where are all the civic leaders protesting Sean Taylor's death. They haven't caught the murder yet. Hmm I wonder why there isn't any outcry? Could it be that when caught he will be a...

Re: c/r semi bluf with ace high ?

Seems okay. Most likely hand is 66 which I think you can make him fold, plus you have a lot of equity.

Re: General Music Discussion Thread Vol. 2

brett, what did you think of THS show? I thought all three bands kicked ass - that's pretty ballsy of The Hold Steady to put Art Brut ahead of you, given how much of a presence they have. Had never...
