FTP Points, Do they get forfeited for inactivity?

I would like to know if FTP Points are ever lost due to not playing or not signing in for some time? If so, does playing with your points constitute activity/playing?

Thank You

Re: Will it ever be possible to prove skill?

Take all bracelet winners from prior to 2006 as a group and compare their 2006 WSOP championship results against all others.

Take money made divided by entry fee for each group.
