Re: I will defend my small blind....what\'s that? 4 bets you say?

Pf is an easy 3-bet from the SB. You don't want the BB playing.

Many players have a wide 4-betting range when they are IP. I wouldn't rule out AQ,KQ, or even less. He will almost always get...

If you had 4-bet pf it would probably be a little easier to sell this semi-bluff. If I were the villain, I know that a TAG will very...

Re: I BLUFF YOU

It is doubtful that a LAG will fold a better hand or any Ace. Also, some LAGs are capable of 3-betting with an Ace here.

By the turn I assume he has either 78s or 6's or 9's with about 10% moron factor playing low stakes. Is the river raise bad?

Re: Monster Draw played passively on flop

I would also check the flop. How often is this going to check through? When you bet you run the risk of getting raised and ending up playing your monster draw HU, loosing all your implied odds. The...

Re: stars 1/2 - straight out of position - check raise or bet out?

Pf is fine. You are getting over 5:1 with a suited connector.

Slow-playing a flopped straight is rarely a good idea.

As you played, I lead the river and hope to 3-bet.

Re: KK...a thought process in the heat of battle.

I don't think we should give a lot of consideration to the LRR. This is usually not AA.

Waiting for the turn to raise is right out of SSHE and they use a KK hand as an example. You have little or...

Re: TT in CO

No one can say with certainty that you didn't get a better hand to fold. Even though, I would not 3-bet this flop OOP. With no reads, except that Btn made a terrible CC, I would just get to showdown...

Re: live 6/12, overs+gutshot from BB

You have a one card GS draw which is worth about 2 outs. A nine puts 4 to a str8 on the board and your Jack isn't even worth 1.5 outs because if you hit one on the turn you are vulnerable to an A,K...

Re: Call this turn with AK?

You have enough outs for the implied odds. With no read that Villain is a value bettor, I am probably not going for a c/r if a Jack hits the river. Too many 2/4 online players will automatically...

We are heads up on the river with Btn, Harv.

I like a b/c. Btn would have popped that flop with a 7.

You are correct if we make the assumption that nobody would fold with a King in their hand. We could then say with certainty that there are only 39 unseen cards. My assumption that any of the five...
