Re: Non Hold-em games/Tourneys in AC?

To the best of my knowledge, no Atlantic City casinos currently offer anything other then no limit hold'em. Trump Taj used to run a Omaha tournament once a week, but it looks like that is no longer...

They get three 1-5 stud games every day at Harrah's. I can't imagine that someone could play there and not see it go unless you only go there after midnight.

Re: Cash games at Harrahs AC

Harrah's Marina usually runs 1/2, 2/5 NL, and 2/4 Limit. Sometimes they will get a 3/6 limit going. I've been told they run a 1/5 stud table, but I've never seen it running. 1/2 NL is always juicy in...

Re: Harrah\'s vs. Showboat (AC)?

I'm heading down to AC this Sat to play in a tournament and then probably some 1-2NL cash games. It looks like both Harrah's and Showboat have $100 tournaments on Sat afternoons, so I'm...

Re: Any suggestions for good room rates this winter?

If looking to stay in Atlantic City, mostly all the casinos (except Borgata) offer "hot rates" at which you can usually find rooms from $49-$69. Best time to find these rates are about a month before...

Play at the Taj. If you are talking about the 3:00PM tournament at Caesars, avoid it at all possible costs. I played it yesterday, only becuase it was $50, and I had never been in the Ceasars poker...

As usual, although I am not paid or sponsored by them, I recommend the Howard Johnson in Absecon. It's not the Borgata, but the rooms are nice for the price. The hotel is about 10 minutes outside...

Re: Best Atlantic City Saturday tournaments?

True, Borgata has a nice room and a nice tournament, but at $300+$40 I think is over priced for 1 tournament, and you could play a full day of tournaments for that same $340.

I would recommend the...
