Re: 400NL 99 facing C/R

When that 5 hits river and he checks it's a great spot to put in a $150 river bet and rep the A.

Re: Cash game pros - lifestyle (and numbers) questions

I'm not a full time Pro, I work 8 hour daytime just like all my friends (08.00-16.00), I try to fit in 2 hours of poker daily for 14-18 hours per week.
I normally play 400NL/600NL (4-5 tables) for...

Re: Squeezed with AK, got called TWICE and flop comes broadway ZOMG

I like the way you played it, river is a fold. If the flush hand't hit I might have called it, he SHOULD have bet turn with a T if he's not a complete slowplaying idiot.

Re: Trips top kicker vs tag!

If he has 79 good for him, you can probably see 78,89 or a bluff here enough to shove it.

Re: 2 hands completely butchered deep OOP against same villain

1. I pretty much always 3 bet PF, if you coldcall preflop I don't like the flop check raise at all. The flop texture makes it an even worse spot to checkraise because he will continue with so many...

Re: 400NL against laggy regular

What I meant is that I see no reason to play this hand fast. Since therre are so few scare cards I'm quite happy with c/c both turn and river, this way we maximize our EV if he is 3 barrel bluffing...

Re: Gross spot with two pair NL400

Horrible turn bet, QJ just got there.

Re: 400NL: Extracting max value with sets, 2 hands

1. I think a turn shove is mandatory with the fl draw out there.

2. I'm pretty sure he is folding when you lead bet, I think you might as well check and hope he takes a stab but I doubt you are...

Re: 400NL against laggy regular

There is absolutely no reason to CRAI because a worse hand will never call you on a dry board like this.
Perfect spot to call and see what he does on turn, there are very few scarecards for you...

Re: NL600 My VB doesnīt look that good anymore

I think it's pretty thin given the board texture, there are VERY few Ax combo's that you are ahead of now:
A4 A5 A6 A9 is all you beat.

I think river is an easy check behind. Now fold.

Re: (NL600) AA faces huge all-in raise on the turn

Snap snap snapcall, I would only check turn if I had a read villain is a good tag.

Re: 66 turns nice 400nl

I fold flop in 95% of all cases here, you have 4 outs and can't continue if he fires turn again.
If I miracously would hit my turn card I would praise my incredible luck and bet $150 and hope for an...

Re: 400NL - What\'s the worse hand you stack off with?

I check turns like this occasionally, in todays aggro games alot of villains will stab the turn with their flushdraw and I can CRAI here with AQ, KQ. It also protects my future hands when I check...

Re: kind of an awkward rivered top 2 pair

If Hero bets 220 and villain shoves, hero will have roughly $200 left to call into a $800 pot ! Can you really fold now? I think we just commited ourselves.
If we B/F I think we have to make it no...

Re: CR bluff @ 400nl

I think this looks rather sexy actually. There is no reason to believe he should have the Ace, all str8 draws missed, turncard is great cause 89 got counterfeited.
I have a hard time seeing what he...

Re: 3 barrel sanity check 3/6

Don't like it, if I would bet river I think I would make it smaller to fold out any busted draw ? I'm pretty sure any A will call you here.

I would just fold river but it may be a leak

Re: 2/4 I\'m minraise/folding two pair on the river

[ QUOTE ]
So...If I bet turn and he raises me, what do I do then? And it would make it an easier call perhaps because I could put him on a heart draw. In this instance, I rule that one out.

Re: 3 bet, cold call or fold ?

There is no cold call. UTG is LAG so I don't mind squeeze here. Call is good too.

Re: NL400 - Betting vs Checking turn

Villains stats says he's a station so I think betting turn is ok. Against an aggro TAG I prefer checking.

Re: Canīt stop tilting!!!

Discipline is perhaps the most important aspect of Poker, you might have to teach it the hard way, but stick to the 20X buyin rule while learning and maybe time will help you.
