What is the general thought on people from England? Stereotypes, jokes, rivalry etc. (not neccessarily your opinion, people in general)

Re: FT200 AK line check 150bbs

I like c/c, Villain seems quite aggressive, and given your line you could have a small - medium PP, which alot of villains 3-bet range will now think there is some value to bet on river.

Re: 3bet AK OOP

Is the 3bet very standard, there is a good chance the pot will be multiway and we are OOP. Would just calling be ok as more standard play? With mixing it up with a raise as secondary play or with...

3bet AK OOP

I've only seen MP villain a few orbits, he seems decently aggressive.

Re: NL10 SH Showdown value with A high?

Hey Lego, it must be late and I misread your post as being from OP. I think his (OP) board is not drawy enough. I agree that the hand you posted is a good example of when this can happen in NL.

Re: Is top pair even worth betting in a limped pot.........

I think position is important. Closing the action, fire away. With 2 players behind, I don't mind a check and seeing how action develops and firing if checked around and blank Turn.

Given the...

Re: NL10 SH Showdown value with A high?

[ QUOTE ]
But this is played exactly like a draw. (And though I don't remember now I must have had an opinion on the villian which helped.) I think it's pretty thin, but I think it's good.

Re: 86s OTB on wet board

ok, i see.
I could be wrong but second term should be POT ($16) + additional money you win from villain ($25-8=$17) and should not include money you are putting in pot.

Your 1/6 odd of winning...

Re: 86s OTB on wet board

[ QUOTE ]
Let's work out the numbers. We are 4.5:1 to make our draw right. If he folds 25% of the time we get $16 and calls the other 75%. In 100 identical situations let's say villain folds 25...

Re: KTs gets donked

Ok, my thoughts. Normally i'd much rather call a donk on lower board ie. T 7 2 or J 7 4 whatever. As it seems villain is decent, the noted boards are generally better for donking with small pairs...

Re: 86s OTB on wet board

At the time, I figuired I would raise/commit myself as the villain was fairly aggressive and could be continuation betting a fair amount. Given the villains aggression and the fact that he could...

I don't know how to host an image. but would add BMW logo. Simple, identifiable, good looking and reflects the origins of the company.

Re: Line Check couple AK hands preflop

Regarding hand 1, with reads there can be justification for raising, calling or folding. I prefer erring on fold side until I get some reads. edit: for excellent reasons cited by todd

Re: AA- 4bet flop or smooth call

first off I think his call preflop range is quite wide, since he seems a bit loose and because SB joined in. Given the pot is going to be so large on Turn and there are alot of draws on this board,...

Re: TT OOP vs Semi-LAG

I think folding preflop is wrong as you can play for just set implied odds.

3betting definitely should be considered. But OOP I think we get into a tougher spot than the one presented here?

Re: 25 NL - AQo OOP

I'd give up too. You might only have 3 outs, you have no reads yet, and you're OOP, button only has $9 so even if you were to hit your gutty, you're not getting as much implied odds as you would...

Re: SHOULD AKo FOLD THIS HAND?????

I agree that if you plan on calling the 3bet preflop, then you get ready to go to felt if you hit. Given the board texture, the player behind and how much I'd have to commit by calling flop, I go...

Re: Hit top pair, but now I\'m worried

You are playing 4 handed and Villain is OTB. His 4betting range is wider than normal. I'd add 66-99, AT, AJ to your range for him that you are beating. That said OOP and without better reads, it...
